Logical Thinking for a 5 yr old

One of the kids' favorite questions is "Where does__________ come from?". It can range from serious to silly. Educational to Nonsense. One way or the other, they ask the question at least 10 times a day. I thought you might enjoy today's dialogue between Faith and her friend:

Q.) Do you know where butter comes from?

A.) Yes,...milk....it's like ice cream only melted!

A.) No, it comes from butterflies...!

Summer Fun in Seattle

Dear Friends,

My apologies....we have just been having too much fun to stop!

But I will take a moment to share a few pics of our excitement. And might I let you know that my camera currently holds 570 some pics from the past month....so picking a "few" pics might be challenging.

For starters, the kids and I made a trip to Seattle the end of June to the first week in July. They did great on the airplane! Biggest concern: Who gets to sit by the window?

We enjoyed seeing my sister Toni, her husband Juan, and ALL her kids. She has added four to her family since I last saw them! My sister Amber was also able to meet us in Seattle to share in the fun! Here's the crew:

We had a ton of fun just being together. We read books, made crafts, played, went to the park, the Science Museum, shot fireworks,out for ice cream, and even spent a day at the beach!

Can't Sign Off With Nothing to Show for It....

Ok....here's the truth....it's 12:45 a.m.! Way past this momma's bedtime. I have been working on a big project for the past couple of hours! And to spare you the frustrating details of my computer and picture woes, all you need to know is I am trying very hard to have a "Summer Fun" post with pics ready by the end of the week to share with you. We have been having lots of fun and I have lots of pics to share,....but I need a little more time......
