Wow! What exciting journeys life brings! We stand amazed, humbled, and blessed.
Who, other than God himself, would have known or could have planned that this adoption journey that began with a seed planted in Jessie's heart when she was just a young girl, would lead to the uniting of a family. Who , other than God himself, would have known when we first researched and applied for an international adoption in the Spring of 2007 that our son was just being born. And who, other than God himself, saw the plan all along and knew that November day when we first heard of litte Wei, Bao-Sheng that 6 LONG months later we would be blessed to hold him in our arms as our son, Joel Wei Fewins.
We are so humbled that God would use us, entrust two of his precious children to us; first Faith and now Joel. And so it is with eagerness and gratefulness that we anticipate this new leg of our journey.
Most of you know Joel turned 2 this past March and we can't wait to have him join our family and for Faith to meet her little brother. We leave first thing tomorrow morning. We will post pictures and updates throughout our trip, so check in often. We love you all and can't wait to be a family of four!

Praying for you constantly that God will uphold you, strengthen you and encourage you and that He will bring His peace to Joel, to Faith and to both of you throughout this journey. What a life-changing trip this is! I can't wait till you return and we all get to meet precious Joel face to face. I especially can't wait to see Faith get to meet her new little brother!
